Kauai is a wonderful Island to come to for a SURFING VACATION. There are incredible breaks off of beautiful beaches. For the accomplished surfer, Hawaiian Surfing Adventures provides all you need to know about the secret places to surf and local tips. We’ll provide the local knowledge and expertise as well as the extra’s listed below, you pick the location you want and surf your heart out.
$150.00 for a 3-5 hour day of surfing the best spot at the time on the Island.
We do request a 4 person maximum.
This is a great way to check out the different surf spots. Check out the conditions and not get into any unwelcome situations. Our guides rule. You will have a fun time and will be welcomed by the locals.

WE HAVE THREE WAYS FOR YOU TO ENJOY SURF LESSONS WITH US.
#1:Right at Nawiliwili Harbor where you dock we have lessons minutes away right in that Bay. Right outside the gate you can hop in a bus taking you 1 minute up the road. Make your reservation in advance by phone or email to book the time slot you would like.
Exclusive lessons with Hawaiian Surfing Adventures are private $150.00 or $100.00 each for 2 or more persons.
#2: We will pick you up at the dock, take a beautiful drive and talk story and head to Hanalei Bay. This is where we give surf lessons. Hanalei Bay has a sandy bottom so you don’t have to wear booties. It is a famous beach and is the area that many world champion surfers both male and female were born and raised. After surfing we’ll have an authentic Hawaiian lunch to enjoy. You’ll have time to lay around the beach, walk, or jog the beach. This is a favorite thing for visitors and locals alike to do. Later we’ll drive back a slightly different route so that you can have more of a look around. This will be an approximate 6 hour day. We have rash guards to wear surfing, water, juice, snacks and lunch. You will need to bring a bathing suit (girls, try to have men’s style surf trunks also), towel and suntan lotion (high SPF!). Total for the day is $200.00 or $150.00 each for 2 or more persons. We can stop at the store if you need to.
#3: If you have decided to rent a car, then you can drive out to Hanalei and down to Hanalei Bay on your own. We recommend this as the best way to go. You can arrange car rental in advance and they pick you up at the ship and take you to the rental office(s) and then bus you back to the ship when you are done. It takes approx. 1 hour from Lihue to Hanalei. You can try Dollar Rent a Car 1-800-800-4000. They say it is a free service and the shuttle takes approx. 3 minutes to their lot.
Our surf lessons are 2 hours long and are $65.00 per person. If you wanted a guaranteed private lesson for you and your family (your own instructor), that is $95.00 per person (or $75.00 if 2 — 3 persons). Lessons can be booked in advance on this website or by calling. You would need to pay Cash/travelers check or credit card at the beach. We supply the soft top surfboards and rash guards. Hanalei has one road through town. You will need to get down to the beach road so… Turn right on Aku st. (first right coming from Princeville), at the end of Aku st. turn right onto Weke rd, continue for 1/2 mile where you will find Hanalei pier (movie South Pacific, where she “washed that man right out of her hair”). Just as you arrive at Hanalei Beach Park we are on your right in a fenced grass lot. You will see our little grass hut and large surf board racks and surf boards. Come on in. CHILDREN OF THE SEA SURF CAMP
This camp is for children 8 and older. With the Children Of The Sea Surf Camp from Hawaiian Surfing Adventures they will receive a basic surf lesson then have a break for lunch. After this, the student and instructor will have more water time (which could be SUP paddling, swimming and/or things your child might want to do.) This activity is 3 — 4 hours and gives you time to relax right there at the beach or leave to do your own things. Kids love hanging out with the surf crew and it is a very safe environment with excellent supervision. The entire time of the surf camp is 3-4 hours with instructor, snack included.

BEACH PARTY VENUE
Hawaiian Surfing Adventures is prepared to create a fun day at the beach for your family and friends as a group. Pre-Wedding, Get Togethers, Company Event, or any occasions can be a perfect event with a custom beach party!
This is a creative way to make sure your family and friends have a really fun time. We have a lot of experience working with event planners and coordinators, or we will be happy to assist you if you do not have one.
Group Surf Lessons with at least one Hawaiian Surfing Adventures Instructor to four of your family and friends will make sure they will be well cared for as they experience the fun of the ocean, the wonderful water at Hanalei Bay, an introduction to a great lifetime sport, and a genuine Aloha Spirit experience with our “All Kauai Grown” crew.
Beach party includes:
• Top of the line Surf Boards.
• Custom Rash Guards.
• Expert instruction.
• Shade Tent(s), some Beach Chairs, some beach mats, low key decorations,or decorations of your choice.
• Water, juice and/or sodas.
• Snack or lunch
