Evan’s surf journey started when his dad pushed him into his first wave at age 4, and he’s been hooked ever since. Today, as an instructor at Hawaiian Surfing Adventures, he loves seeing the excitement in people’s eyes when they catch their first wave.

When he’s not teaching, Evan’s perfect day includes an early morning surf session, fresh poke and an acai bowl, and a cool dip in a cold pond. His tip for visitors? Don’t miss the Na Pali Coast—whether by hike, boat, or helicopter, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime sight.

Known as “Jewiian” (Hawaiian + Jewish), Evan has a great sense of humor and an easy-going vibe. Inspired by local surfers like Josh Kamalani, his style is all about flow, grace, and fun in the water. Spirit animal: dolphin.
