Nathan “Nate” Neikter

Age: 32 | From: North Shore, Kauai

Nate has been surfing for 27 years and loves nothing more than seeing the stoke on students’ faces when they stand up on a wave. With decades of experience in Hanalei Bay, he makes learning to surf safe, fun, and unforgettable.

On his days off, you’ll find Nate surfing or playing music. He draws inspiration from the legendary Irons brothers and describes life on Kauai simply as “special”—thanks to the beautiful landscapes and even more beautiful people.

Fun fact: Nate has never seen snow, but he’s had his share of ocean wipeouts—including one that left him without his board shorts! His easygoing vibe is summed up in three words: cool, calm, collective.
